The short version: Wakelog is a logbook. Your data is yours and stays on your device. Pro is $12.99 a year after a 14-day free trial (cancel anytime), or $49.99 once for lifetime access. Wakelog is not a navigation product.

What Wakelog is

Wakelog is a private logbook for recording spots and trips on the water. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes. When Wakelog is installed from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

The plans

Wakelog Pro comes two ways. The annual plan is $12.99 per year after a 14-day free trial: in the App Store version, payment is charged to your Apple Account when the trial ends, and it renews automatically each year unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it anytime in your device's Settings under your Apple Account subscriptions — no need to contact us. The lifetime option is a one-time $49.99 purchase with no renewal. If a price ever changes, you will be notified, and for the annual plan you can cancel before it takes effect.

Your data

Everything you create in Wakelog belongs to you and is stored on your device. You can export it at any time (JSON backup and GPX export in Settings), whether or not you keep subscribing. Because your data lives only on your device, you are responsible for backing it up — if the device is lost and no backup exists, we have no copy to restore. Details are in the privacy policy.

Not for navigation

Wakelog is a memory aid, not navigation or safety equipment. "Take me back" points a straight line at a saved spot; it knows nothing about depths, channels, hazards, or rules of the road. Always navigate with proper charts and your own judgment. The captain drives.

No warranty

Wakelog is provided as is. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we cannot promise it will be error-free or always available, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from relying on it — including lost data where no backup was made, or any use of the app for navigation.

Fair use

Don't attempt to break, copy, resell, or misuse the app or the map service it relies on. That's it.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date.
